Material Specifications & Barrier Performance

WVTR & OTR Metrics

Multi-layer polymer structure minimizes Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR) and Oxygen Transmission Rate (OTR). Tested at 38°C and 90% RH. Prevents oxidation in roasted coffee beans and clumping in hygroscopic powders.

Thermal Sealing Parameters

Open-top design requires impulse or continuous band sealer. Optimal sealing temperature: 150°C – 170°C (300°F – 338°F) depending on machine pressure and dwell time. Back-seal seam withstands 50kPa internal burst pressure.

Compliance Data

Resin compounds comply with US FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 (Olefin polymers) for direct food contact. SGS tested for heavy metals. REACH (SVHC) and RoHS compliant. Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards.
