Q: Does this machine suck the air out (Vacuum)?
A: No. This is an Impulse Heat Sealer designed to melt the bag shut. To achieve a vacuum effect, we recommend placing an Oxygen Absorber inside the bag and sealing it immediately.
Q: Why does the indicator light only come on when I press the handle?
A: This is correct and indicates the machine is working. The light illuminates during the heating cycle and turns off once the cycle is complete, signaling it’s safe to release the handle.
Q: My bag is melting or not sealing. What do I do?
A: If the seal melts/burns, the setting is too high; dial it down. If the seal is weak, dial it up or hold the handle down longer after the light turns off.
